his is a challenging high-altitude trekking adventure designed for active travelers with good to excellent physical fitness. The Andringitra section (Days 8-11) is the most demanding, featuring four consecutive days of mountain trekking including a strenuous summit ascent (Day 10: Pic Boby, up to 2,658m). Other trekking days range from moderate (4-6km) to challenging (6-10km). You should be comfortable walking 4-8 hours per day on uneven, sometimes steep trails while carrying a 5-7kg daypack.
